Investing in the Next Generation: My Mentorship Journey with COAF and Matena
Corporate Social Responsibility is an important part of Confido Advisory’s strategy. By promoting the educational development of future generations, our Co-Founder, Marine Mirijanyan, recently participated in a mentorship program and today shares her experience with us.
"Mentorship is not just about transferring knowledge - it’s about being there for someone who shapes their professional path. It's about supporting and encouraging them when they need it most." - Marine Mirijanyan.

Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program organized by COAF in collaboration with the Matena Alumni Club and MentorcliQ. By joining this program, I aimed to use my experience and knowledge to support COAF graduates are taking their first steps into the professional world.
The goal of COAF’s scholarship and career development program was to foster both the professional and personal growth of its scholars by connecting them with professionals who have extensive work experience. It was a great honor for me to be one of those mentors.
As the Co-Founder of Confido Advisory, I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to navigate your path when you don’t have a mentor. I began my own journey without a mentor, figuring out each step on my own — where to start, what to do... It was very hard. That’s exactly why, when I heard about this program, I joined without hesitation.
Over the course of 6 months, I had the joy of mentoring two inspiring girls:
✨Ani Mkrtchyan, a future lawyer from Dalarik village in the Armavir region,
✨Rita Martirosyan, an aspiring marketing specialist from Horom village in the Shirak region.
Focusing on the girls’ personal and professional development, we conducted a SWOT analysis to help them identify their strengths and weaknesses and set SMART goals - both short-term and long-term. We explored important professional tools and learned about effective interview techniques to help them confidently navigate future career opportunities.

I also visited the girls’ hometowns - Dalarik and Horom. These visits gave me a deeper understanding of the professional development opportunities and challenges in rural areas. During our time there, we organized a community project for the local school students with the aim of inspiring and equipping the younger generation with knowledge about career paths and personal growth.

This experience was incredibly meaningful and impactful for me, as I truly felt the potential and determination of our youth. The girls’ drive to keep learning and acquiring new knowledge was priceless. I am confident that each of them will become a leading professional in her field.
I’m grateful to COAF, Matena, and MentorcliQ for offering such an opportunity.
