Competition law 

The legislation of the Republic of Armenia prohibits the abuse of monopolistic or dominant market positions, unfair competition, and anti-competitive agreements. All of this is regulated by the Law on the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia. In case of a violation of competition law, significant fines are stipulated by the law for economic entities, which result in additional financial losses.

To mitigate such risks, we offer the following services to our clients in the field of competition law:

  • Consulting on competition law to minimize antitrust risks and avoid legal disputes in cases of corporate restructurings (such as unification, mergers, acquisitions, etc.),

  •  Preparation of concentration declarations, 

  •  Assistance in obtaining concentration agreements, 

  • Representation of the client’s interests in the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition,

  • Legal representation in general jurisdiction and administrative courts in competition-related disputes with competitors and state authorities (including the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition)
